Morning. The rate story just got a lot more interesting overnight: markets went from pricing almost no chance of a hike next week to treating it as the base case. Here is what matters today.

Ottawa: leaning buyer’s, condos softest

  • September: 1,010 sales, down 6.6% vs. last year. Benchmarks: single-family $705,100 (flat year over year), townhome $546,500 (-2.2%), condo $380,800 (-6.1%). Months of inventory: 4.4 for single-family, 4.0 for townhomes, 7.3 for condos. Chris Hendricks / OREB
